Moving Walls: Dads

The Open Society Institute–Baltimore presents work by Stephen Shames, from OSI's Moving Walls 10 Documentary Photography Exhibit. Enrolled in parenting programs, the men in Shames's photographs play an active role in their children’s lives. The exhibition includes works by Baltimore City youth about fatherhood, parenting, and adult role models.

Opening Reception

The April 5 exhibit opening included a panel discussion about fathers and children, featuring:

Fathers who are becoming more engaged with their families also participated.

Moving Walls is an ongoing series of photography exhibitions addressing social justice issues. The Open Society Institute curates and organizes these traveling shows to enlighten and engage, challenge and inspire.

Art on Purpose, a nonprofit organization providing art workshops, exhibitions, and programs in support of education, social justice, and community service, coordinates Moving Walls 10 in Baltimore for the Open Society Institute–Baltimore.
