Moving Walls: Dads

The Open Society Institute–Baltimore presents work by Stephen Shames, from OSI's Moving Walls 10 Documentary Photography Exhibit. Enrolled in parenting programs, the men in Shames's photographs play an active role in their children’s lives. The exhibition includes works by Baltimore City youth about fatherhood, parenting, and adult role models.

Opening Reception

The April 5 exhibit opening included a panel discussion about fathers and children, featuring:

• Darryl Green, Male Services Facilitator, Casey Family Services
• Joseph T. Jones Jr., President/CEO, Center for Fathers, Families and Workforce Development
• Jason Perkins-Cohen, Executive Director of the Job Opportunities Task Force

Fathers who are becoming more engaged with their families also participated.
