David M. Altschuler
David M. Altschuler is Principal Research Scientist at The Johns Hopkins Institute for Policy Studies, Adjunct Associate Professor in Sociology, and holds a joint appointment in the Department of Mental Health of the Bloomberg School of Public Health. His work focuses on juvenile justice system sanctioning, juvenile aftercare and parole, offender reentry, privatization in juvenile corrections, and drug involvement and crime among urban youth. |

Douglas W. Young is a Senior Research Associate at the Institute for Governmental Service & Research at the University of Maryland. He is involved in research, evaluation, and systems development in corrections and substance abuse treatment, offender reentry, and juvenile assessment and aftercare. |
