Jeffrey Burch

Jeffrey Burch is the senior development associate at the Open Society Institute–Baltimore, where his primary focus is on Foundation and Corporate giving.

Before joining the Open Society Institute team, Burch began his work in the nonprofit sector at Moveable Feast, the sole provider of home-delivered meals for men, women, and children living with HIV/AIDS or breast cancer throughout the Greater Baltimore Metropolitan Area and along Maryland’s Eastern Shore.  During his time there, he was involved in all areas of fundraising, from proposal writing to special event planning and other annual fundraising efforts.

Prior to his fundraising career, Burch worked in the Baltimore County Public School System, where he taught first and fifth grades as well as eighth grade English.
