Arab Reporters for Investigative Journalism: Revitalizing Media in the Middle East
Arab Reporters for Investigative Journalism, an Amman-based nonprofit and Open Society Institute grantee, aims to revitalize journalism in Jordan and the wider Middle East. Since its establishment in 2006, the group has trained and funded journalists to produce 22 groundbreaking articles that have piqued local and international attention. Stories have covered topics ranging from nightclub prostitution to fast-food hygiene, bringing intensive original research to the public.
