Visit the Site:   http://www.fosserbia.org

The Fund for an Open Society–Serbia supports programs and activities aimed at developing democratic culture, civil society, human rights, openness, tolerance, peace and stability in Serbia. The fund works towards this end by focusing on education, science, culture and art, health systems, and communications.

The fund’s projects have included supporting education reform in curriculum; helping to organize public debates that bring greater transparency to the education reform process; working to establish independent education monitoring; presenting a general strategy for judicial reform that emphasized rule of law, equality before the law, access to justice for all, and the protection of rights; addressing issues of crime; and working with the Romani community to improve education, health care, and social services for Roma.
